Oil Expelling Plants

Mechanical screw-press extraction — robust, chemical-free, continuous.

What is it

What is Oil Expelling?

Oil expelling is the mechanical way to extract oil — with no solvents involved. Cleaned, conditioned seed is fed into a continuous screw (worm-shaft) press, where a rotating worm builds extremely high pressure against an adjustable choke, squeezing the oil out of the material as it travels through the barrel.

Because it relies on pressure rather than chemicals, expelling is simple, robust and well suited to smaller capacities and premium “expeller-pressed” oils. The oil is filtered while the de-oiled cake is discharged for further use or onward solvent extraction.

Aditya Engineers supplies durable, high-efficiency expelling plants engineered for continuous operation across a wide range of oilseeds.
