Palm Oil Processing & Fractionation

High-capacity refining plus dry fractionation into olein and stearin.

What is it

What is Palm Oil Processing?

Palm oil processing combines full refining with fractionation — a thermo-mechanical step that splits refined palm oil into two valuable products based on their different melting points.

In dry fractionation, bleached and deodorised palm oil is cooled under carefully controlled conditions so that the higher-melting fats crystallise. The crystals are separated in a filter press, yielding liquid palm olein (widely used as cooking oil) and solid palm stearin (used in shortenings, margarine and industrial fats).

Aditya Engineers builds high-throughput palm oil refining and fractionation plants engineered for efficiency, reliability and long operational life, with automated control systems.
